Great price, perfect fit - very comfortable. Jul 23, 2010 I bought these as a lazy training paddock boot, for when I was wearing half chaps or just mucking around the stable/teaching clients.
Super comfortable out of the box, and true to size - my 6.5 fit perfectly. I was a tad hesitent about buying riding books online as many equestrians know - you want to be sure they're comfortable!
These were a GREAT purchase, and I highly reccomend them.
Let's see...I wore them at least 8 hours a day, a few days a week...riding at least once (while wearing them) and normally multiple "hop ons", and the only thing that started to really fall apart was the shoe laces which are easily replaced.
I used to tell my students, both children and adults to purchase these.

Very nice boots, though a little stiff... May 30, 2009 I bought these boots as my first pair of paddock boots, to replace my not-so-great rubber tall boots. The size fit great, I usually wear a 7 or a 7 1/2, and I bought a size 7 of these boots. There was plenty of room for thick socks if i need them! I've had them for about two and a half weeks, and though I've only ridden in them twice, they've worked great for me so far. I've even worn them to mow the lawn, and the material is really nice and durable. I found it easy to stretch my heels down, especially after my rubber boots that had zero flexibility, and they were very comfortable during ridng. I have just purchased half-chaps to go with them, which I highly recommend, and we'll have to see how that goes. I think these are a great buy, and perfect for your first paddock boot.

Saxon Equileather Boots = Quality at low Price Apr 05, 2009 I have owned the Zip up version of these paddock boots for a while now and am extremely please over the quality and fit of these boots. The outstanding low price for such high quality is a major plus! I have put these boots through everything. Daily barn and paddock clean-up; barn stall breaking down and sanitizing with large amounts of water and bleach solutions; Florida muddy conditions which can be quite bad; Riding. Through it all these boots have held up. They required NO breaking in and have just gotten more comfortable over time. They clean up quickly and beautifully no matter the abuse and mucky conditions. Honestly, I prefer the zipper version for being able to quickly slip them on or off but that is more of a matter of preference. Decently ventilated even in the Florida heat/humidity and a comfortable close fit with a decent sized toe box area. These due run about 1/2 size smaller than your standard flats which is normal in boots. These are not too narrow, but well fitting. I wear a 7 1/2 in street shoes, and I bought these in a 8 and the fit is perfect. Works great with half chaps like the Dublin Comfort Suede half chaps. These in brown and the chaps in brown look very smart.
PROS:
* Price
* Quality
* Easy Care
* Handles ALL weather conditions and sheds away water. No staining.
* Fit. Comfortable and molds to your foot after time.
* No breaking in required. How rare is that!
CONS:
* None to date. I am VERY picky and I have been very pleased with this purchase. I will update this review at the year point as only time will tell how the sole holds up to daily use. At 6 months, I am please and you can't beat the price as these have held up so far.

good product Sep 10, 2007 I'm taking a riding class and this was an inexpensive way to ensure I had the proper footware. These were surprisingly comfortable, although the sizing seemed just a little bit big. I normally wear size 6 so that's what I bought and while they fit me relatively well, there is a bit more space at the front than I'm used to. However, they are more than adequate for my class and were a much more reasonable price than I was expecting after shopping around a little.
